Great Maratha History



The Maratha Confederacy was an Native Indian imperial dynasty that endured from 1674 to 1818. At its optimum, the regin covered much of South Asian region, covering a area of over 2.8 thousand km². The Marathas are acknowledged for the re-establishment of Hindu rule in India.

The empire was established and combined by Chhatrapati Shivaji Bhosle.
